Planning Requirements

Once you have decided what the size and layout you would like to create, you will need to consider if planning is required. There are many factors that influence planning permission, but the good news is that some extensions are classed as Permitted Development, this means that some extensions won’t require permission. Loft Conversions are also an area which may be covered under permitted development depending on a number of factors.

Getting Planning Permission

Quotes for your Home Extension

When getting quotes for your building project, building firms should always request a copy of your drawings, including structural drawings, and come to do a detailed site visit to ensure the quote offered is accurate and should not change due to any oversights. They should discuss with you how much of the build you are expecting a quote for and which finishes you would like to include in the quote. Quotes should be easy to understand with a clear payment structure.

We will respect your privacy and personal space, and wherever possible, we will work at times convenient to you. At the end of each working day, you can be assured the area will be left clean and tidy and that all tools and materials are stored safely and securely.

 

We use high-quality materials throughout the project and work to complement the existing structure, finishing in stone, brick or render to suit your taste. We take the time to review our work, making sure the finish meets our own high standards.

 

Once you are completely happy with the extension, we’ll leave you to enjoy your new living space, however we will always be here should you need anything else after the work is complete.
